Commercial ultraviolet disinfection systems are specifically designed to treat microbiologically contaminated ground or surface waters.
These disinfection systems offer a 4-log reduction (99.99%) in bacteria, virus and protozoan cysts (specifically giardia lamblia and cryptosporidium).
